Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how the Gemini Bookmark Manager browser extension (the "Extension") handles your data. Your privacy is our priority, and we believe in complete transparency.

Last Updated: March 11, 2026

Data Collection

The Extension collects and processes the minimum amount of data required to function:

  • Bookmarks: Read titles, folders, and URLs to allow searching and AI sorting.
  • Active Tab Information: Retrieves URL, Title, and meta-content when you use the "Analyze Page" feature.
  • API Keys: Your Gemini API key is stored locally and securely in your browser.

Third-Party Services

The Extension communicates directly with the following third-party service:

Google Gemini API

When you request an analysis, data is sent directly to Google's servers for processing. No data is stored on our servers. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more details.

Data Protection

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to outside parties. We do not use your data for advertising, credit scoring, or any purpose other than bookmark management. All data processing, except for AI analysis, happens locally on your device.
